About me

"You can’t sit around and wait for somebody to say who you are. You need to write it and paint it and do it” - Faith Ringgold

Born and raised in Colorado Springs, CO, I made my own videos from a young age, experimenting with whatever cameras we had around the house and whatever free editing software I could get my hands on. There was something so satisfying about having a vision and making it a reality.

I studied documentary filmmaking at BYU, where I directed the short documentary Life After. This film shares the stories of three Utah residents and their lives after amputation. Their experiences changed the way I thought about disability/ability. Just like Life After did for me, I love documentaries that introduce us to new people, places, and perspectives.

Aside from directing documentaries, I also edit them. Whether it’s 30 seconds long or 30 minutes, I aim to utilize diverse editing techniques that take stories to a higher plane.

I currently reside in Pittsburgh, PA, where I am seeking new professional opportunities that will expand my skillset and expose me to refreshing ideas.
